The government publishes a calendar of its offices' days off each year. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the Friday before is taken; on a Sunday, the Monday after. The dates below are the calendar's own, substitute days included.

Who it binds

The calendar is for government offices. It notes that private employers follow labour law, and that transport, police, fire, medical and other services that run all year set their own days. It does not say what any museum, shop or night market does on these days; that is on each place's own page.
