At the crossing of Chengde Road and the 10-metre green belt on the extension of Fuguo Road, where two green corridors meet in a cross, lies Zhoumei Xianzaigang Park, a wetland park for flood detention, recreation and wildlife, covering about 30,818 square metres. The old Shuangxi riverbed in the park keeps its protected banks and serves as the forebay of the pumping station, providing detention space in floods, and at other times it is a community wetland park.

On the east side of the channel, a shallow marsh zone has been left undisturbed as a habitat where land birds can feed and breed. From the park you can see the marsh wildlife of the channel and, further off, the outline of Qixingshan and the Datun Mountains. Facilities include a winding viewing path, waterside platforms, a pedestrian arch bridge, a pergola and a walking loop.
