The main visitor areas are as follows. The exhibition area covers three floors and introduces astronomy step by step through multimedia and interactive models, with a children's learning zone and a self-guided tour system.

The 'Cosmic Adventure' is a slow-moving ride that takes visitors on a ten-minute journey through the solar system, a black hole and an encounter with aliens, after which they can visit a space city of the future. The Space Theatre shows full-dome films on a giant dome screen and has a digital planetarium projector that can show a realistic starry sky. Films last about 40 minutes, followed by a 10-minute introduction to the stars. In the 3D Theatre, viewers wear special glasses to see 3D images that leap off the screen; films last about 40 minutes. The observatory is on the top floor. During the day, staff explain the telescopes and observe the Sun. It holds up to 20 people at a time, and visitors can queue to go in.
