MAJI market, Zhengyan Pavilion (Yuanshan Flora Expo Park)

Set among nature, it uses shipping containers and log barns to house food, original goods, music and art, creating a market space with a foreign feel: a city amusement park. MAJI2 has six areas: the Shennong Market, a world snack street, a creative market, international restaurants, a speciality shopping street and a multi-purpose performance and exhibition space. The Shennong Market brings together tasty, safe, natural, chemical-free ingredients for people who love to eat and cook. It carries carefully chosen produce from small farmers across Taiwan, many of them winners of the Ministry of Agriculture's Shennong Award, and good small-brand sauces and seasonings rarely found in ordinary supermarkets. It also brings in traditional ingredients from Nanmen Market and has a deli of cooked dishes for Chinese tastes that customers can take home. The world snack street is laid out in shipping containers with retro tables and chairs, and serves Taiwanese snacks and food from East and West. The creative market gathers handmade leather bags, original clothing, accessories and small design items for daily life.
