Taiwan New Cultural Movement Memorial Hall

The memorial hall recalls Dadaocheng's history and the fearless pioneers of the new culture. It collects and exhibits historical materials on the New Culture Movement, and works to bring together and revive Dadaocheng's cultural heritage: researching the places where key historical figures were active and lived, linking them into a cultural history trail, and developing a Dadaocheng history and arts centre, so that Dadaocheng becomes an open ecomuseum of cultural history. It also aims to let visitors hear local historians tell the stories of the period's activists and writers on Dadaocheng's streets, and to recreate the atmosphere of the time inside the hall, where different rooms present the new literature, songs, drama and art of that era.
