Lines from the ci poem 'Ding Feng Bo' by the Northern Song writer Su Shi are set into the floor of Lishan Farmers' Plaza in Nangang, giving it a literary air. In the Japanese colonial period this was a school where local children studied.

After a landslide it lay abandoned for many years and lost its original appearance. The city's geotechnical engineering office, as part of improving the farming community's environment, treated the old landslide site and combined a Japanese-style pavilion, 落羽松 trees and landscape rocks to recall the old school, creating a distinctive plaza for rest. Opposite the plaza is the Sifen Stream, where closing the stream to fishing has successfully protected the fish. You can also walk over the double-heart-shaped stepping stones and along the streamside path, listening to the water and looking at the 落羽松 trees. For those interested in the story of the stream's fish protection, the local community association 久如社區發展協會 can arrange an ecological guided tour.
