Besides fresh fruit, vegetables and meat, it has a well-known standing nigiri sushi bar on the ground floor and traditional snack stalls upstairs known for simple, good food. There are also shops selling many kinds of rice. The goods are of reliable quality, and the market is clean, without the damp and fishy smell of ordinary traditional markets. With an underground car park, it is a good place to shop for food in the often rainy north. It also has a human warmth that gives a sense of Taipei's particular character and reflects everyday local life.",
