It includes flat ground and a small hill about 40 metres high, which was kept when the site was cleared so that people can see for themselves how Taiwan's first rubbish mountain has been turned into a restoration park. The park is divided into restored woodland, a recreation area and riverside flats. The recreation area has a sunny lawn, an activity plaza, a landscaped plaza, a 'vision' picture frame and a viewing platform. The lawn alone covers more than 10,000 square metres, about the size of one and a half football pitches. Trees and shrubs such as 山黃麻 and 水麻 attract flocks of birds to live here.
