    "description_zh_hant": "此建築於1933年落成，座落二二八公園對面，為臺北市市定古蹟，是日據時期遺留下來的勸業銀行古蹟再利用。1991年內政部指定為三級古蹟，2005年臺灣博物館系統計畫成案，土地銀行與臺灣博物館合作，由臺灣博物館負責古蹟修復及後續營運管理，定位為自然史及金融史博物館，並於2012年獲頒「國家文化資產保存獎」殊榮。外部為巨大羅馬柱廊的石造建築，牆面材料則為分割灰縫作法，鑄鐵窗採用滑輪與重錘省力的上下開閉，且鑄鐵窗都嵌入六角網目鐵絲網壓花處理玻璃，可藉此見證當時的營建技術與工藝水準。內部挑高三層樓的大廳以石膏浮雕泥塑板作為裝飾構件，展覽古中新生代的三葉蟲、恐龍、哺乳類動物等各種化石紀錄，揭開地球生命演化的奧秘，同時展出臺灣早期金融史、土地銀行行史檔案及古蹟修復等。",

    "description_en": "The building was completed in 1933 opposite 228 Park and is a Taipei City-designated historic site: the former 勸業銀行 bank from the Japanese colonial period, now reused. In 1991 the Ministry of the Interior designated it a Grade 3 historic site. In 2005 the National Taiwan Museum system plan was approved: the 土地銀行 bank and the National Taiwan Museum worked together, with the museum responsible for restoring and running the building as a museum of natural history and financial history. In 2012 it received the National Cultural Heritage Preservation Award. Outside, it is a stone building with a massive Roman colonnade, and the walls are finished with scored joints. The cast-iron windows slide up and down with pulleys and counterweights, and are glazed with patterned glass set with hexagonal wire mesh, showing the building techniques and craftsmanship of the time. Inside, the three-storey-high hall is decorated with plaster relief panels. The exhibits cover fossils from the Palaeozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic eras, such as trilobites, dinosaurs and mammals, explaining the evolution of life on Earth. There are also displays on Taiwan's early financial history, archives on the history of the 土地銀行 bank and the restoration of the building.",
