It was later run by Gu Xianrong's daughter-in-law, Gu Yan Bixia (wife of Gu Yuefu). After the war the Nationalist Government took it over, and the factory was forcibly closed after Gu Yan Bixia was implicated in a case of 'collaborating with bandits'.
