    "description_zh_hant": "舊時淡水河旁沒有河堤，貴德街就直接面河，渡海而來的大陸南北貨下船後，就在貴德街後面的迪化街陳列販賣，很多迪化街商人都因貿易而成一時鉅富，他們蓋的房子就格外漂亮，這些房子為了適應臺灣多雨的天氣都有騎樓，但是房屋對外的牆面卻多為仿西式建築的裝飾，造成獨特的中西式混合的建築。這些老店屋最大的特色，就是店屋深度的十分狹長，前面做為店鋪之用，後頭就是工廠或倉庫，呈現早期聚集式街屋的特色。大稻埕內最著名的街道為迪化街，街區內的店家販售著各式各樣的乾貨、中藥材、編織商品等，同時也是年節時重要的年貨大街。另有許多市定古蹟，如台北霞海城隍廟、慈聖宮、辜宅、新芳春茶行等，保留著歷史的痕跡，皆值得走訪。而大稻埕碼頭內的貨櫃市集駐有多種美食，可以在享用美食的同時邊享受美景及夕陽，不定時還會舉辦各項活動及表演。現今的大稻埕還保有傳統建築，紅磚瓦屋、復古的街道，與周邊新建的建物呈現新舊交織的畫面。周末時間不妨到大稻埕走走逛逛，租套古服一同沉浸在歷史的氛圍中。",

    "description_en": "In the past there was no embankment along the Tamsui River, and Guide Street faced the water directly. Dry goods shipped across the strait from the mainland were unloaded and displayed for sale on Dihua Street, behind Guide Street. Many Dihua Street merchants grew very rich through trade, and the houses they built were especially fine. To suit Taiwan's rainy weather the houses all have arcades, but their outer walls are mostly decorated in imitation of Western buildings, creating a distinctive mix of Chinese and Western architecture. The main feature of these old shophouses is that they are very deep and narrow, with a shop at the front and a workshop or warehouse behind, typical of early clustered street houses. Dihua Street is the best-known street in Dadaocheng. Its shops sell all kinds of dried goods, Chinese medicinal herbs and woven goods, and it is an important street for Lunar New Year shopping. There are also many municipal monuments, such as the Taipei Xiahai City God Temple, Cisheng Temple, the Gu Residence and 新芳春茶行, which keep traces of history. The container market at Dadaocheng Wharf has a range of food, where you can eat while watching the view and the sunset, and events and performances are held from time to time. Dadaocheng still has traditional buildings, red-brick tiled houses and old-style streets, which mix old and new with the newer buildings around them.",
    "description_ko": "예전에는 단수이강 옆에 제방이 없어서 구이더제(貴德街)가 강을 바로 마주하고 있었어요. 바다 건너 대륙에서 온 건어물과 잡화(南北貨)는 배에서 내린 뒤 구이더제 뒤편의 디화제(迪化街)에 진열해 팔았어요. 무역으로 큰 부자가 된 디화제 상인이 많았고, 그들이 지은 집은 유난히 아름다웠어요. 비가 많은 대만 날씨에 맞춰 집마다 아케이드(騎樓)가 있지만, 바깥 벽면은 대부분 서양 건축을 본뜬 장식이라 중국식과 서양식이 섞인 독특한 건축이 되었어요. 이 오래된 상점 가옥의 가장 큰 특징은 안쪽으로 아주 깊고 좁다는 점이에요. 앞쪽은 가게로, 뒤쪽은 작업장이나 창고로 써서 초기 밀집형 상가 주택의 특징을 보여 줘요. 다다오청에서 가장 유명한 거리는 디화제예요. 거리의 가게들은 여러 가지 건어물, 한약재, 엮거나 짠 공예품 등을 팔고, 설 명절 장보기에 중요한 거리이기도 해요. 타이베이 샤하이 청황먀오(霞海城隍廟), 츠성궁(慈聖宮), 구(辜)씨 저택, 신팡춘 차행 같은 시 지정 고적도 많이 남아 있어 역사의 흔적을 간직하고 있어요. 다다오청 부두의 컨테이너 마켓에는 여러 음식점이 있어, 경치와 노을을 보며 식사할 수 있고, 수시로 행사와 공연도 열려요. 지금의 다다오청에는 전통 건축, 붉은 벽돌 기와집, 옛 거리가 남아 있어 주변의 새 건물과 함께 옛것과 새것이 어우러진 풍경을 보여 줘요.",
